Voxel Remesh

Voxel Remesh reconstructs geometry using a sparse voxel representation, effectively eliminating issues such as self-intersections and holes, thereby improving geometric integrity and topological cleanliness. However, due to the inherent limitations of voxel-based discretization, the reconstructed model may suffer from some loss of detail, particularly in sharp edges and fine geometric features. As a result, it is best suited for scenarios where high topological quality is prioritized over precise preservation of intricate details.

Tips: Voxel Remesh is computationally intensive and consumes significant memory and processing resources. Using a higher voxel resolution dramatically increases data volume, which may lead to software lag, crashes, or excessively long computation times. Therefore, it is essential to select an appropriate resolution based on hardware capabilities to avoid overloading system resources and ensure stable, efficient operation.

  • Select the model to be edited and enter Modifier mode.

  • Adjust the voxel resolution.

  • Execute Remesh
