The connect tool inserts a new edge between two vertices that lie on the same face.

Tips: Only two vertices can be selected at a time, and they must belong to the same face but not be adjacent.

• Select the two vertices to be connected.

• Select "Link" from the menu.

• Execute the connect operation.
