Topology Editing

Topology editing is a fundamental technique in 3D modeling that involves modifying a model’s structure and shape by adjusting its basic geometric elements—vertices, edges, and faces. This approach enables precise control over the mesh, either locally or globally, and is widely used for optimizing mesh structure, repairing geometric issues, or refining model morphology. With its high degree of flexibility and practicality, topology editing plays a crucial role in creating clean, efficient, and production-ready 3D models.

Tips: The 3D editing functionality is only available for manifold geometry.

  • Select the target 3D model and enter Topology Editing mode.

  • Enter Topology Editing mode.
